EVO BOURBON BACON BLOODY MARY

Ingredients:

  • High ball glass

  • Ice

  • Fresh lemon wedges (2 (two) - 3 (three))

  • Celery stalk

  • Thick cut bacon, cooked

  • Bamboo skewer or small wooden skewer for garnishes

  • Pickle spears, oiive, pepperoncini, salami, cheeses, etc (for garnish)

  • 1 (one) - 2 (two) tbsp lemon juice (from concentrate)

  • 1 (one) V-8 juice, small can (5.5oz)

  • 2 (two) - 3 (three) tbsp EVO Craft Series Smokey Bourbon Salsa

  • 1 (one) tsp Franks Hot Sauce (add more if you wish)

  • 6 (six) dashes worcestershire sauce

  • 1.5 (one and one-half) oz Kentucky straight bourbon (we used Bulleit)

  • Celery salt, to taste

  • ¼ (one-fourth) tsp Kosher salt

  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. In high ball glass, add bourbon, EVO Bourbon salsa, Franks hot sauce, lemon juice, celery salt, kosher salt, pepper, V-8 juice.

  2. Stir cocktail very well, add ice, stir again.

  3. Taste.

  4. If you feel it needs more heat, add more hot sauce; if it needs more acid, add more lemon juice (using your fresh lemon garnishes) to your taste.

  5. Garnish with bacon, and skewer filled with pickle spear, olives, pepperoncini, garnish with celery stalk, and fresh lemon wedges.

***Variations***

You can add prepared horseradish this recipe, start with ½ (one-half) tsp and adjust to your taste.

You can also add other garnishes like grape tomatoes, shrimp cocktail, pickled okra, Dilly beans, etc.
